I downloaded all of the 2019 games for the top 15 players on Fox. There are around 4100 games, including a few 9x9 and some teaching games but almost all of them are vs other top level professionals. Here you can find which professional the username belongs to.

Useful for those of us who like to use database software to study with.

Nice, thanks for the game sgf files.

Does anybody have any pointers how to import it into kombilo (I have problems probably related to chinese language characters.)

Or any other recommendation for a go database and pattern searching software?

How did you do that, though? I’d like to download some myself. :]

With a script through the client. I download every pro game of 2020. It takes about 20 minutes to get a days(or a year of one player) worth of games, I could never figure out how to selectively download games from outside the client.

I think there's a webpage with Fox game records that you could crawl/scrape, like the KGS archive webpages, but I can't remember the URL.

Yes, but it just scrapes every game by game # and the encoding sucks so I went with this. Ill think I will post some filtered January games involving top Goratings players too. Should have about 1000 with top 100 players.
