Connection to Fox server unstable -> using Proxy

Sometimes I get popups during a game I play about the connection quality and if the popups appear repeatedly, the connection is ultimately closed completely. I then tried the Fox website (https://www.foxwq.com/soft/foreign.html) and it was also unavailable. Maybe a problem with internet access to China? (from German, in my case)
I then noticed the little checkmark 'Use a proxy (when network unstable tick)', flagged it and chose Line 1: Hong Kong.
Ever since, my connection has been stable. Do y'all use a proxy, too?
By the way: it is funny that Kaya.gs has a subforum and the most frequently played on server (Fox) does not. Maybe an administrator wants to open a dedicated subforum?
