Yanagisawa's 1-min real board tsumego vertical video lecture

Post by CDavis7M »

I recently discovered Yanagisawa Satoshi 6-dan's YouTube channel. It took me a bit, but I realized that I've seen him give commentary on a live-stream before. Other than that I don't know much about him.

One of his projects is making 1-minute tsumego lectures(tesuji and life and death). These are done on a real board, which I prefer and enjoy. It's also rare, which is why I bring it up. The videos are only 1 minutes long and they are recorded in vertical format for easy viewing on your phone. The explanations are simple enough to follow visually. Which is good because he's talking super fast for the 1 minute limit. This format ticks a lot of boxes for me so I've got his channel bookmarked to watch on my phone when I'm killing time. I believe I read somewhere that he had a goal to make 1,000 lessons but that might have been someone else.
