Is it useful for a sdk-player to memorize pro games after watching a video like this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYMnvQJ ... 3QkrtywyV_ ?

Thanks in advance for your advise to help me to improve my go skils.

You can try, it helps you to understand the game better, but don't expect miracles from that method.

There's a L19 thread and a reddit thread already on this topic:

I have done so in the past but I can't give evidence of it having any impact on my game or not. My gut feeling is that it doesn't. I had the most tangible improvement from playing long, serious games in a rivalry/jubango and reviewing each game seriously too.

The best advice ever comes from Bill Spight: study what you like.

Is memorizing useful? Probably not.
Is replaying games useful? Yes, I think so.
Is replaying games the most useful study? Probably not.
Is replaying games fun? For me it is.
Is watching that video fun? Not for me it isn't.

Study what you like is the advice given by many pros.
