If you read "European Tour regulations apply" in an event's description, what rules should you understand apply?

1) Should this read "Tournament" rather than "Tour"?
2) I do not live in Europe, and am not a member of the EGF. So I may be missing something in your question. But I would assume that the event would follow the relevant sections from this page:

I think most people would assume the same, unless you remember 'the tour'.
It caught my eye when I was looking at the tournament website for the Women Championship.
The tour regulations are something which you need to travel back in time by about 20 years to find

As rules go they're fine, maybe better than normal as they specify SOS as a tiebreaker, apart from specifying that the referee needs to be announced in advance of the tournament, which wasn't done. (but who cares?)
No, it's just kind of amusing to see this terminology live on after all this time. I assume it's a copy paste thing?
