Great TV Shows you might not've heard of.

Or, a thread in which you should share them !

I would recommend:
Captain Star - An excellent "children's cartoon" space-show parody, featuring absurdist views on capitalism. People tell me Spongebob Squarepants is a children's cartoon that is accessible to adults too. The people who tell me this have never seen Captain Star.

Seven Periods with Mr Gormsby - A New Zealand comedy about a rural highschool. Warning, if you can be offended, this show will probably offend you. If you can withstand it, it'll be worth it. I don't want to ruin it for you if you do watch it, so no further description from me.

As an aside, if anyone does manage to track down and watch some of Seven Periods with Mr Gormsby, I'm curious to know what non-NZ demographics think of it.

The Lost Room - it's a fantastical 6 part series and it blew my mind a little bit.

Thanks, I remember the show, but I had never finished it. For some reason it popped into my head a few weeks ago but I could never remember the name.

Sports Night is my favorite TV comedy ever. It was a half-hour show that ran for two seasons on ABC before getting axed. It was one of those shows too smart and offbeat to find a wide audience. It was written by Aaron Sorkin, the guy who wrote the first four seasons of The West Wing.
