Hi:
I aam looking for a traditional Goban with legs for around $500 USD. Please let me know if you have anything you want to sell. I have loooked at the major retailers and I am not impressed. Most of them seem to be part time businessses who have turned their hobby into a business. I would appreciate anyone who can be of help.
Thanks,
Lance Martin

Lance, did you find anything? Want a board you need to refinish? I can send photos. The top surface must be replaned (you will need a skilled woodcraftsman or a very good and shapr plane and a steady hand) and the lines must then be reapplied, leave the sides and bottom alone. Appears to be Korean spruce or cedar, very dark brown, not pretty, but might be CHEAP and you would have the bragging rights of making your own traditional-style floor board from, umm, a kit.

Excellent and lucky. Was the final price only $149? With shipping from Japan of $100-200 that's a delicious find. Description says the stones might be plastic and there are no cool bowls to go with the 3" board. But still a Nice find.
