This is from one of my games. I'm playing black. It's at this point that I'm having trouble. I was really stumped as to how to proceed, but I thought that the position looked interesting. So I thought i'd post it here to get some insight!

move 7: why do you not answer corner? what good did you get out of not answering the corner?
move 9: overplay why do you create two weak group on purpose?
move 11: knight move was better choice of hangma.
move 12: you made your group heavy by moving your one stone. (bad)
move 13: if it was me i would go back to the corner i neglected in the beginning.
over all assessment: except the move

everything you played is wrong.
i can see that your opponent is stronger than you so you will need handycap against him.

I agree with everything Magicwand said. You need to take care of your existing issues before you should start new ones. In this game, you gave yourself two headaches and could only save one.
Also, White seems strong. The C10- and C18 sequence is very strong, I think he is better than me.

Yes. I think white's position is good here too.
As for me, I think I need more practice. I'm chafing under the stress right now, though. I feel like I should be getting better. But thank you aphelion. I appreciate you taking your time to comment.

Take some of the previous criticism lightly. At your level, the game is still completely even, and there have been no big mistakes. Yes, C12 was an overplay, but not a game losing move by any means. Some suggestions for the next direction of play:
- AB -- settle the two B stones quickly, at the cost of giving W a good position along the left side. Hopefully get sente to make a big play on the right side.
- CDEF -- start an immediate fight. Enough of this fuseki nonsense, let the middle game begin! Both sides will likely have several weak running groups, so it should get exciting fast.
- G -- loosely link some scattered stones, aiming at center influence.
- HIJKLMNO -- treat the two weak B stones lightly for now, take a big point on the right, combining pincer and extension from the upper right corner.

it´s better not to think about g. g is dame, there is still a cut, and the relationship to the upper side is weird.
c-f are over-agressive, because it will end 2 weak black groups vs 1 weak white group (we10 will start a very promising fight for white)
