These are always fun, I'll start:

"Don't leave a flaming house alone, set your neighbor's on fire too"

Here's a combo Jie Li + Takemiya Masaki:

"Play the moves you want to play, unless you're being broadcast, in which case, play the moves which will earn you the least ire from the kibitzers"

EDIT:
hmm, I should convert this to proverb format:

hbar/2 <= ideas*kibitz

LOL :lol:

I still remember the first time I pulled a monkey jump on an unsuspecting opponent (we were both beginners). I forgot that my main group was already dead.

I remember telling a 10k who was flailing around with a dead group making it heavier and heavier instead of trying to connect to the outside: "If you see a drowning man, throw him a rope, not an anchor."

I heard that wild hares are so dangerous that they can easily kill foxes and lynxes when they pounce, so I decided to make a new go proverb.
"Be careful! Made hares can fight back, so hide it the bushes like a lynx."

It means that you should consider doing multipurpose moves that attack while making territory, and if the opponent tenuki's then BAM! So maybe it needs some editing, what do you guys think?

I think I'll try one:
Dont get into a kicking contest until youre ready to be kicked back.

This is kinda weak i know but Ill probably think of a new one soon. :lol:

Think. Play the best move. Repeat.
