i was just surfin for some go sites but they all suck

its like the peeps that made them are trapped in the 90s lol aren't there any better ones

If you are happy with a some thousand year old game, you can probably cope with ten year old pages, no?

If by "modern" you mean "bogged down with Flash", embedded video on every second page and plenty of fluff amd glitter distracting from the actual information, then I prefer the "1990s style" (it makes me feel old that the 1990s are used as an example for something ancient!).

I visit web sites for the information they offer, not for their appearance. There's nothing wrong with simplicity. (And let me just mention that sites in 1995-98 didn't at all look like what you refer to as the style of the 1990s. )

Its a shame, that some people seem to live only to try and ruin things for others. I actually think that there are some fantastic Go sites out there that feature functional designs, clear content and are not bandwidth hogs. Certainly some sites like goproblems.com and the Interactive Way to Go make effective use of modern tools to be a great learning resource for guys like me .

he just sounds like he's 13 years old, which doesn't necessarily mean he's a troll.

It was pretty clearly an account registered just for trolling, so there was no reason to treat them any differently than a spammer. If it were a long-standing member breaking the rules here or there or having a bad day, they would have gotten a warning.
