I'm currently sittin' pretty at 5 kyu after six months of playing but I feel one of them plateaus comin' on. I decided to memorize some of dem pro games but I was wonderin' what specific games are good for showin' "thickness"or "strength"or "influence". Now I know the first thing that'll pop up is Takemiya and that's cool, but can you gimme specific games that can be found on gobase or summin' similar to that. I don't usually have the internet so I don't get to play much which is why I'm lookin' for a new way to stall stallin'. Thanks. Peace

Go Seigen 1933 or later.

Fujisawa Shuko (his Kisei years) for creating proper move thickness.

Click on quote. In between every pair of sgf-full ... /sgf-full tages incl. the square brackets, copy, paste and save each SGF file. Then, using and SGF editor, you can view the games.

You may want to look for Yu Ch'ang-Hyeok. He's not so much about influence, but he's thick alright. One of the best korean player there is too.

Seeing as Cherries is in Africa, they must clearly be using Safari ;-)

He might also be using an outdated version of Internet Explorer. Would explain the lack of JavaScript
