Depends on the content and what you want to pay. If it's a simple static page, you can get super-cheap hosting from nearlyfreespeech.net.

I would like to have some interactive features, with security. It does not have to be free, but cheap is good.

I work for a company that does hosting, among other things, and have my own VPS (Virtual Private Server) with them as well. If you want it, you can host your content for free on my server. You will have shell and ftp access, and I can help you set up an interactive site.

Do you already have a webhost? Are you still searching for one? If not then I would suggest that you check out this webhosting offer as they seem to have a great value for price. I signed up with them a couple of days ago and I will now start my own website.

At entry level I think Hostgator as mentioned by others (and I've used them for five years) are good but pricy..

I use 1&1, both here in France for my own hosting, and in the US for a charity I work for:

They were recommended by a couple of friends who use them, and I've been satisfied since I've been working with them, I think about 3 years now. Good features, not too expensive, at least for what I need.
