Hikaru no Go as eBook

I just noticed that each Amazon page for the Hikaru no Go manga series features a "I’d like to read this book on Kindle"-link. So I thought, hey, if hundreds of people on this forum requested a Kindle/iPad/AndroidTablet-version of the manga, they might actually make it available - and that would bring thousands of new young players to the game!
So get to work! Here is the link to the first volume. Click the request-link (see under the book image), and if you're feeling really ambitious, do the same for the other volumes (see under "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought")!

Would love to see this happen. I also requested all 23 volumes.

For some reason, I just don't think there are all that many "young people" (a very debatable term, to be sure) who pay for kindle ebooks (or even own a kindle, for that matter).
Of course, having any books ("graphic", strictly text, or otherwise) available in as many formats as possible is never a bad thing.

Edit:
Considering the kindle apps, I will slightly reconsider my first statement.

I think this is more likely to show up in VIZ media's manga application (though I don't see a reason they couldn't do both).

That'd be pretty cool to have them in ebook format. Although, do ebooks for the kindle work for Windows XP? I'd probably read them on my desktop if I got them. Then again, I'm the type who prefers a physical copy of something rather than a digital copy.

Same here.
Although I really don't regard Hikaru books very highly... I am a great believer in electronic format in general. Ever since I was able to convert my entire physical library and squeeze it into one small backup harddrive and use the room for something else...
