Problems with connection to the IGS server?

Hey everyone,
I'm new here - and pretty new to Go, but I am really enjoying getting into it. I've been playing online on the IGS server through a variety of clients, including TengenGo for iPad, Pandanet-Tetsuki for my iPhone, and SmartGo and the free basic Pandanet client for my windows PC.
Anyway, I have not experienced any connection problems up until last night, but since then, and especially today, I have stretches of several hours where I just cannot connect to the IGS server using my PC. I try over and over again, I reset my network adapter, I restart the client I'm using to access the server, I check and recheck my server connection settings... and somehow I inexplicably fail to connect over and over again.
Has anyone else had this issue and does anyone out there know how I can resolve it? Because I really would like to play, and especially to observe.. I love being able to watch the games of low kyu through high dan ranking players, I always learn a lot.
SmartGo has a huge library of famous pro games, but it isn't the same as watching live and being able to listen to other observers comment.
Anyway, Please Help!
Thanks,
QuietMonolith
