Life In 19x19

This is the finalized go variant that I've been working on.

The rules are :

1.star points count as edges of the board.
2.the four corners of the board do not count as edges, but instead, wrap around in each direction.
3.suicide is legal.
4. There are four hoshi points, instead of 9.
6. Played on a 17 by 17 board.
7. Handicap is free placement of up to 9 stones.

This variant just needs a name, and some beta testers! Anyone up for a malkovitch game?

playing on a toroidal board could be fun, i would give it a try. but i guess our ranks are a bit far from each other for a game without high handicap

ad 7: with free placement you don't have to limit number of handicaps at all

Actually, in this variant, the wrapping of the edges aplies only to the 1-1 points. Should have been more clear.
