How does play.baduk.org rating work?

Hi,
I've done the test and achieved 114/200, which is KGS 5k which I am currently rated. So, how does it work? Did the owner did some test to determine some anchors or is there other magic involved?

it just take your ip and then checks it against list of KGS users to find your rank
seriously: it is a test compiled by Alexander Dinerchtein, a strong European player, and it estimates your rank based on your answers. i think you are quite lucky to get exactly your rank, usually it is not so precise

I think it just gives you a certain amount of points for every answer. The right answer (every situation presented is taken from a professional game, as far as I know, so the right move will be most likely the move the pro chose) gives you of course more points.
In the end all the points will be compared to some kind of chart, which states like so much points are this rank.
I got European 1-kyu, right now. A little bit off, 1-kyu KGS would be more likely.

For me this rank is far from reality
It states 13kyu when real rank should be around 20, maybe even worse.. (at the moment 20k on KGS).

Of course, with it being a multiple choice test, below a certain strength threshold it won't be accurate, as you'll be getting ~1/5 right through sheer luck.

Okay, guys, welcome to the internet. People put up quizzes. You answer a dozen or so arbitrary questions. Then the quiz tells you which circle of hell you'll end up, which Twilight character you are, or what career you should follow. These quizzes are very serious business because they are highly scientific and always give you an objectively correct answer. You can recognize the really accurate quizzes because at the end they give you a little graphic with your results which you can put on your LiveJournal, MySpace, or AOL homepage.

I just did the test and got 166 points, which resulted in a rating of 4d.
I am curious about the actual answers. Anybody knows them?
