Hello from England
Been a chess player for 30 odd years, started playing on FICGS and noticed a section for a game called go.
Thought i would give it a try and am now hooked.
Most of my games have been on FICGS and i have joined KGS but have not played many games there.
I have started reading the "Learn to play go books by Janice Kim" and articles on the web.

Howdy, and welcome to the forum! Let us know if you have any questions. I've heard of several go clubs in England, have you looked around to see if you're near one?

Welcome! The Janice Kim series is great--you should get a lot of mileage out of it.

Hello
I have two clubs nearby, one about 15 miles and one an hours drive.
Unfortunately to fit around the kids my wife works evenings so it will just have to be online for now.
Just a couple of more years to wait.

Hello
yes, they are good books very easy to read and follow and a nice lay out. Much easier than some of the chess books i have.
