Life In 19x19

This year seems to have been awfully eventful all around the world. But in between earthquakes, nuclear disasters, typhoons, global financial crises, etcetera, I also happened to join Life in 19x19 back in February. Now as the year starts to wind down, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for making L19 the very special place it is.

Particular thanks go to the admins. I believe they have done an excellent job running the site, which includes giving us the occasional steadying hand (be it a sharpish clip upside the head at times!) to preserve a very enjoyable tone and balance here. Attaboy!


But the real heroes of any community are the members. Life in 19x19 is nothing except the expression of your opinions, insights, humor, and occasional grumpiness. You all are what has made L19 a great experience for me this last year. So my heartfelt thanks to all of you. Thanks for all that you have contributed! Well done in 2011 and I hope for more of the same in 2012.

I've gotta say thanks to your dog, too, ez4u. Your profile pictures wouldn't be the same without his cooperation!

And thanks to you too, ez4u. Your contributions are some of the most interesting and illuminating things I read on here. So you're one of the guilty parties who keeps me coming back... for better or for worse!

Thanks, but it really is not that much work. Jordus did most of the work when building the site years ago. There are a few spammers and other malicious agents, but they are easily dealt with. And the few problems with members that we do have usually turn out to be misunderstandings or miscommunications of some type.
