That's exactly what I was thinking (she isn't on the list).
I seem to recall an interview where she stated that she was the one who suggested Flynn and Qorra play Go in Tron Legacy, however, I couldn't find the quote (after only a brief search), so I decided to stay quiet; after all, she may only be familiar with the game, and not actually play it.

I guess it depends on your definition of a celebrity doesn't it. I'd put Yi Ch'ang-ho, Sakata Eio, etc, on a list of celebrities and I would guess they've both got as much chance as Ralph Fox as being known to 'the man on the street'.

Well, you are right, there are plenty of go players who are more famous as go players then the "famous" level of some of these people.
However, I think the point is to list people who are "famous" for something else, and also play go.

Michale Loceff plays go. He was the executive producer of 24. In season two, one scene is in a korean baduk parlor. Nothing like betting, alcohol, go games, koreans and ladies.
I met him on KGS like 7 years ago, and gave him some lessons. He is also a programming teaching in a community college. We lost touch afterwards, but he was a really smart person, although he seemes pretty sour after he won the golden globes: a period i suppose.
Its one of the stories i tell people that dont know anything about go, to show off -.-.
