Hi, I'm new to using IGS GoPanda, and was wondering if I could get some help?
I'm struggling to figure out how to use this. There doesn't seem to be anyone when I click the Games and Players tab, and when I try and Find Opponents, its keeps searching, but doesn't come up with anyone. If I try to click 'join room', it doesn't do anything either. If I could get some advice, I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

Hm. If there are no games or players, try clicking "refresh" on the bottom right.
To find an opponent (automatch) click the black button with the magnifying glass symbol, then a small window should pop up in which you can choose the board size, time settings, and the maximum rank difference. If you set it to 0, it can take longer to get a game. Try setting to 1 instead.
As to rooms - I have no idea how they work on IGS or what they're good for.
Ask again if you still can't get a game. Good luck!

Have you signed up for a user name and logged in?

IGS rooms are sorta like rooms on KGS, but are poorly implemented. (I haven't yet found the console command for them). But they're not like Channels which might be closer to KGS rooms (but without games -- just chatting).
You're likely in an empty room.
Press F5 to get to the room dialog.
Then click Leave room
Then close and refresh the player/game list
The primary playing "room" is not actually a room, so you have to leave any other room you might have joined to find a game to play.

GoPanda has changed its online indicators from previous version of pandanet software (such as glGo).
The big red circle means you're disconnected (it used to mean you were connected)
Go to the console, and type 'stats'
If it returns info about your login, then you're on.
