Life In 19x19

Other sites load as usual, but half of my pages from L19 have been 10+ seconds per page today.

Anyone else?

Loading as normal for me at the moment.

I've had the same issue - sometimes I have to click links a second time before they would load.

Same for me yesterday. Have not read enough to tell whether it is true for today as well.

I just had one take 21 seconds.

I haven't noticed any slowdown beyond what's normal for me (my connection here at work has to travel across ~7 states and back for browsing).

Seems to be fine for me now.

Haven't had any issues with loading or response times from over here.

Today - the day after I started the thread - everything is OK.

Now this thread is totally useless. I'm inclined to delete it to save space...unless someone objects.

why you always deleting and moving threads? leave it... its an event in history. when it happens again (and it will/and has), then we can begin to see a pattern and perhaps find a cause.

It happens to me all the time, and usually with the longer threads (my settings show 40 post per page, not the default 10). I suspect the database on the server starts running under heavy load or running our of memory and clears up when restarted. (I guessing that its a shared database with other clients using the same hosting service).

Today, Aug 10th, L19 was unavailable from around noon to 1:30, Pacific time. Just me, or anyone else?

Godaddy had serious problems today, so I assume it was that.

BGG also went down because of GoDaddy.

I couldn't get to L19for about 20 minutes this morning around 10:00AM Pacific daylight time.
