I've not managed to convince a high dan opponent yet. They are shy, scared or I lack the necessary DGS credentials to get me a dan opponent.

We could try to convince MagicWand, play TegaiS, who volunteered earlier, or kidnap the local master's daughter and force him to play if he wants to see her again.

Iirc, Uberdude is not on the legion list, we could play him if he agrees. He sure makes a formidable opponent.

Is Uberdude in DGS?

He's definitely on OGS and I don't see any reason why we couldn't use that instead. Magicwand would also be fun to play against.

I'm happy to be the opponent on OGS (who on earth thought a drop-down box was a good way to navigate moves, eh DGS?!). But I'm not a high dan so if the stronger players on this forum participate I'm not strong enough. Looking at the registration list Tooveli is the only name I recognise around my strength so maybe it's ok.

The OGS 7D feels not strong enough

We've already started the game with MagicWand.

However, nothing stops us from playing two or more legion games (we have an entire subforum so it should be manageable.

Right now it's a bit hectic because we're still getting accustomed to the voting system but as soon as two or three moves are played I could start a second legion game with you.

A single person serves as interface between the forum and the server, so I don't mind reading one game from each server (I get the diagrams on the mail anyway) or playing on both.

One game at a time until we're settled, and there's evidence that we can sustain participation over the course of a whole game.

Btw: Uberdude, your performance on OGS indicates that you're strong enough.
