My name is Daniel. My current setup is a roll-up magnetic board (or my iPad/computer) and my primary opponent is my wife.

I've been aware of Go now for maybe three-five years, most of which has been spent playing the computer on 9x9 boards with very little real study or trying to get better.

For the last three months I've been playing some games online, and studying Go books. I've been spreading "the gospel" and have so far gotten my mom interested, and one long-distance buddy has promised to play "sometime."

So that's my story. I'm LanguiDude on Pandanet and KGS (and iidhaegn almost everywhere else) so hi!

By the way, if you live in Scottsdale and want to play some Go (or just about any other board-/video game), drop a line!

Welcome to life in 19x19

(I very much doubt you're still 30k) ;)

Thanks! I'll stick with 25k for now, but until I've lost a few more games against people of "known" strength, I'm reluctant to rate myself any higher. :-)

I believe there is a Go Club in Mesa if you want to play live.
