When I was trying to access to this page:

http://www.godiscussions.com/forum/show ... 818&page=7

which is the page number 7 of the thread Go Media - I used Google Chrome - it loaded the warning window of google: "Visiting this site may harm your computer". As far as I know, if a site is labelled as such by google, it is either phishing site or contains mailware =|. Is this a mistake by google?

The warning message is in Vietnamese by the way but it means the same in English.

I think that's a false positive, triggered by the last post on that page, which apparently contains a picture of Lee Sedol and his wife. That picture is hosted on segye.com, which has been listed as suspicious (you'll get a similar warning if you try to visit that site directly). However, the only thing on the GoDiscussions page from segye.com is the wedding picture, and I'm fairly sure there's nothing sinister about that, so ignoring the warning about GoDiscussions should be safe.

Interesting, I'm not getting that with Safari, which uses Google's Safe Browsing system exactly the same way as Chrome does...

koks, when you get warnings like those, you can check the details ("Why am i being shown this") button/link to know what the exact warnings are. If it's a site you don't expect to have a virus, usually it tells you what triggered the alert.

oh ok, thank you :), now I know it's alright. I think it is due to my past experience when I ignored the warning and accessed the webpage and my computer was infected by some viruses that made me almost re-installed windows =/. So later whenever I run into such message I just close the whole thing =/

thanks again =]
