In regards to distractions from Go, any BlOps2 fans here? (Call of Duty - Black Ops 2, for all those not obsessed with video gaming.)
Played a ton of the first one and decided to pick up the new one. I was quite disappointed to find out their "dedicated servers" wasn't actual dedicated servers, but some crummy matchmaking service connecting into Treyarch servers.
Eh, I'm still having fun - mostly. Anybody else?
Also - PC gaming forever!

i have it but dont play as much as i would like. Too much rebooting into windows is bad for the health. I leave using windows for work!

Heh, fair enough. I'm a windows guy through and through. Makes it easy being a gamer.

Dual boot. Windows for the games, Linux for a working computer.

How do you like the music to Cod blops 2? I heard that the music to that game was done by Trent Reznor. Im a huge NIN fan and i love the movie scores he did for Social Network & The GWTDT, so Im really interested in what he would do with a video game soundtrack...

Not sure, I haven't even installed the single player (eventually I'll get to it). I've been impressed with the music I've heard in the trailers (the ones that weren't obviously some high/amped current pop/rap song).

Playing on Xbox and really enjoying it. Like all multiplayer games it's only good with buddies.
I find like-minded players through Gunslingergaming.com
Cross-platform, cross-game "clan"

I'll have to check that out. Luckily I have a group of friends that get together Thursday nights at my place. Makes it fun.
Finally tried a couple of the different Party Games - "Sharpshooter" and "Sticks and Stones." Quite fun.
