^title. Guessing the site doesn't exist anymore? I don't come around here very often but it was disappointed to click that link and have it not go anywhere! Would make for a great site!

Been down for almost a year, I think. Went down shortly after I registered and propagated our local Go club :-/

Wow, whats the link still doing there then? Makes this place feel washed up and sloppy.
Hell, thats how most of the go community feels really.

I mean, I could say the same thing about your mother, but not to her face...
(More seriously, I think a few people are in touch with the ex-proprietor of iGolocal, in various ways. He ran some sort of go supply outfit, and when he found a different job he stopped fulfilling his orders and let the registration on a few websites he had started expire. If your google-fu is good you can probably find a telephone number and address in a few minutes, but I'm guessing that he is intentionally ignoring people who have asked him to transfer the site over to people who will maintain it.)

Are you aware of people who have made such an offer?

I'm aware of people who said they were going to make such an offer, but not party to their personal correspondence. There are lots of other explanations you could give...

Could
http://promotego.org/ be a replacement? At least it’s not down like igolocal.net, I was able to enter the data for our local Go meeting.
(Yeah, crosspost, I know :-S )
