Dual Kgs icons on Win 7 taskbar

When running kgs, wich is pinned to my taskbar in Windows 7, a second instance of its icon pops up, just like this thread:

Not a big problem, but kinda annoying anyway.

Anybody know a way to fix this?

EDIT:
Here's what it looks like

It's the same issue as (the java related part of) this: http://superuser.com/questions/189312/h ... -windows-7

Could you screenshot it? Press "print screen" or "prt scr" on your keyboard, open up paint, paste, save image, and upload with your message.

Probably because the link points to javaws.exe but KGS runs as javaw.exe

Yeah, I'll post a screenshot when I'm back home. Your suggestion sounds right, Li Kao, I'll report back later today. Thanks for your replies.

You're right, it points to javaws.exe. How do I change that?

I think that's the way java-webstart works. Java-webstart does check for updates and then starts the normal java on the downloaded cache files.

You could use normal java(for example by simply downloading the .jar file), but then you'd lose autoupdate.

This is only guesswork, since I'm not a java programmer myself.

Sorry, but I'm really a novice here. I never really understood what those different types of java was. I tried to run the .jar file as suggested, but it gives me this error message:

"Could not find the main class:C:\users\...\cgoban.jar. Program will exit"

Googling this issue seems to suggest that I need to clean my system from malware - it has indeed been behaving rather strange lately. Anyway: If this, on the other hand, is a regular problem, please let me know how to fix it...

I still didn't manage to fix this. It is the same issue as this guy: http://superuser.com/questions/189312/h ... -windows-7

Anyone else had the problem? Anyone solved it?
