Norfolk, VA Go Players

Does anyone play in Norfolk, VA? That's the biggest question I have. I love playing online Go, but I'd really enjoy having someone I can play here. I'm even hoping to get a club up and going, but it seems nobody plays around my area.

Well, I guess there's nobody in Norfolk. Just my luck to. Most of the Go happenings occur in northern Virginia, and it would take way too much money to get up there.

Don't suppose you would be willing to move to Richmond?
The only club I have been able to find in the area is one at VCU, who, unfortunately, pretty much only meet on a night when I'll always have class. Pickings are slim for starting my own club as well.

Not everyone is here. A long time ago there was a nice group down there. Perhaps try a classified in the ejournal, post your email and see?

Well, it's just shy of a 2 hour drive over to the Norfolk / VA Beach area from Richmond (the way I drive at least), but might be worth it on a weekly or monthly basis, depending on how often you meet, and days/time.

I'd be interested in meeting up somewhere if anyone is still in the area.
