I heard from Fan Hui, yesterday in KGS Plus lecture, that there exists a book containing all games between Lee Sedol and Gu Li (if I recall correctly, Fan Hui said there are 28 games).
Does anyone know the name of the book and the author ?
Even better, a link to senseis ?
Thanks a lot,

Must be already a little old and out-of-date, since we have 32 games between them in the GoGoD database and the rumours are that there are more to come.
Best wishes.

Unless GoGoD has commissioned Gu Li to provide detailed commentaries for all those games, the book by Gu Li is much better if you can read Chinese.

Not really fluent in putonghua or that literate in Chinese but there are quite a few online tools to help out with translation these days.
The Chinese title of the book is 龙渊·古力李世石28番激斗详解
Unfortunately, when I checked yesterday, the book does not seem to be offered by either dangdang or amazon.cn

There were 35 games between Lee and Gu last time I checked. Do you have
this one TMark? The game record is down the page a little.
I bought this book last time I was in Beijing and it's excellent. The commentaries, by Gu Li himself, are very sharp and detailed.
To give you an idea, it has 28 fully commented games and (in hardcover) weighs about 1.2 kg.
For comparison, Invincible contains about 80 commentaries and 140-something kifu in total, but has fewer pages and weighs about 1 kg (in hardcover). The dimensions of both books are similar. (In case anyone's wondering, I care about these sorts of details mainly because they affect shipping costs, not because I have OCD

)
As I've said before, for the Korean Yearbooks, if enough people wanted a particular book from Asia we could add it to our store or do a one-off special order for a group of people. Unfortunately (even though I'd like to) I don't have time to act as a go between for orders on a one by one basis.
This is the kind of book that enough people might be interested in, so if anyone has a good idea about how to organize a group order like this (e.g. Kickstarter?), I'd be happy to hear about it.
Also, if you're interested in this book, please let me know.
