Hi guys,
Yoon Young-Sun told me that I shall study the games of Cho Chikun and Sakata Eio. Are there commented game collections of those two?

I know
The Killer of Go by Sakata Eio has some of his commented games (maybe try some of his other books too like Middle Game of Go). For some free resources try this site:
http://www.kendo.ee/go/commented.php . They have some pretty good commentaries. There are few of Sakata and Cho's games. Unfortunately, most commentaries are probably going to be in Japanes & Chinese, so unless you can read in either of those languages finding an abundant source of commented games will be difficult. However, remember with studying commented pro games it is quality not quantity! Best of luck.

I think
Tournament Go 1992 also has at least one Cho Chikun commented game.

I second tchan's suggestion of the digital archives. Most of Sakata's career predates Go World and I am not familiar with the quality of commentary in the old Go Reviews, but essentially all of Cho's title matches must be covered. A quick glance through
the individual issue page suggests that issue Number 16: November - December 1979 might be a good starting point. For $1.50 you get commentaries on games 1-3 of the 4th Gosei between Otake and Cho plus games 1-4 of the 4th Meijin between Otake and Sakata. (You did say you wanted to study the games of Otake Hideo, right?

) If you like it then the Cho chronicles really start with issue Number 22.
Note that although the index page itself says the individual issue price as $2.50, both the Go World CD top page and the Click and Buy site itself show it as $1.50.
