Hello again. I returned to KGS today and I played against mfgo09kyu1. I played 3 games and lost these by sizeable margins. The first one is included here.
I then resorted to an unconventional fuseki sequence. Surprisingly I won by 6.5 pts. Here is the game.

Thank you again, EdLee, for your kind review. A good part of my loss was generated by the loss of the top left corner, which could've been prevented by a timely play at f16. The rest was keshi losses. Do you think the mfgo09kyu program can teach me to play Go? I lose to it 9 times out of 10. If I play against it regularly, I should be able to win consistently after a while. However, I have not been able to play at handi since it plays free games.

mfgo09kyu has some strange and bad moves -- if you copy them consciously or subconsciously, then it's bad.
However, if you want to consistently beat it, then you must improve. So it's OK as a benchmark/target.
