In the link above, you can watch a new video clip from the film makers about the Six Brothers' Baduk.

Starting from 1:06 one of the 'Six Brothers' starts saying about the quality of wood regarding the size of the tree of origin, that no good-quality baduk board can be made from a small tree because the core of a tree brings about 결함 (1:12; literally, waning and falling out). He is saying not that that the core part is a 'good part' (1:19) but that the product from it is 하품 (1:20; literally, low (quality) product) and therefore the core should not be used to make a high-quality board. Also, from 1:25, he says nothing about a 'large tree', he just uses the word 대각선 (diagonal) and does not finish his sentence.

I hope such mistakes are not found in the final work.

Nice to know there are knowledgeable folks who freely spread their wealth :-)

Did you PM the person who promoted the clip(s) here just recently? I’m sure they’d love to know.

Greetings, Tom
