Beginner from Florida

I am 26 years old and have been playing off and on for a few years now. Mostly against the computer and watching games. I've recently decided to dedicate myself more to the game, really start studying. I hope at some point in the next year to become comfortable enough to start entering tournaments and other competitions. Any guidance that you all have as far as paths of study and recommended books and things would be awesome, I have found a lot of material on sensei's library and a few other sites but more is always better.

Look forward to being a part of the community here and playing with you all.

Welcome and good luck! =)

I described my way on Sensei's Library, too: http://senseis.xmp.net/?SoDesuNe Maybe you'll find it useful.

Thanks for the guide. I am at work so didn't look at it too closely but it looks like it has a pretty comprehensive path of how you got to where you are.

Btw if anyone ever sees me online, KGS- jmonroe IGS- jmonroe feel free shoot me a message anytime.
