This is my blog.
I plan to post games that are useful for me and, I hope, others.
I plan to make notes on books I read
My current book list is
Opening Theory Made Easy (30% )
The Chinese Opening by Kato (5%)
Attack and Defense (5%)
P.S. Everyone is welcomed to play against me.
KGS nick is Heizenberg

One game with a quick review afterwards is nice.

A game on Jan ,3th
A blitz game that disappointed me.

I liked white s kick but game went badly after my response to K4.

A very nice review of my game. Definitely should replay it several times to memorize it.

As always I enjoy to consider good ideas. To enjoy them even better I tried to explain them to myself. Maybe my explanations are wrong but still I want to share them. I marked them with ### in the comments.

You could play m4, then after white m6 (yes I know, rather impossible for low kyu but who knows) black can invade a san san (c3).
Or if you don't know how to reduce white later you can start with sansan immediately.

I think I don't need to say that invasion c17 in the very early stage of the game was a stupid one, but let's look closer.
After white played so badly and let you live in the corner and cut him into two pieces black made a huge missread.
"Don't play go if you don't know a ladder" - you heard that? No? Strange ;).
So after white messed up you could get a big fat corner. How to get it? Simple: just block his #38 with g18. Done.

Learn to read few moves ahead. Learn a ladder. Do not push from behind like you have done in k4 area.

Good luck!

I liked Bryan Cranston portrayal of a bad-ass chemistry teacher.

Ha! Was hoping you'd say "physics inspired"! :)

Probably, quantum physics is not as available to general public as high-quality serials.

Chinese fuseki that played out nicely.

I always wonder how to deal with an early invasion.
Moves 5 -8, it is not a joseki move for white to make keima (taking star point is better). And my 8 move (attachment) seems to be sente.
How do I punish these 2 floating stones?

Move 10, I discovered in Opening Theory Made Easy (30% ) a nice idea of combining
pincer and extension. So, Chinese fuseki appears.
11, What a strange move, I wish a knew how to punish it most severely.
To extend seems strong and quiet, but it makes life easier for white than e.g. hane.

Another disconcerning attachment on O17, I was glad to kill that group latter.

A tough game with a 8kyu.
Lots of early invasions.

I counter white`s invasion pretty straightforwardly

Early on, white makes two weak groups. He's concerned about saving the one on the right, so black can let it live to kill the one on the bottom. L7 around move 31 seems fine.

At move 43, also, this is urgent. Don't worry about the territory on the right, as it will form naturally if you fight. Black can just cut or hane.

At move 59, if black cuts white off from the group on the right, can white live after connecting to the bottom group?

Overall, though, you played well and effectively showed why white's invasions were too early.

Thanks, skydyr
Elaborate on your thought about move 43, please

And Do you think it is possible to kill W weak R15 group?

Regarding move 43, if black cuts, white is in a tight spot and will need to scramble to live locally. black should be able to get in moves to defend the right side in sente while attacking this group and sealing it in, as well, as building more potential on the top and in the center. If white chooses to sacrifice, black's not going to complain either.

Regarding the later fight, I'm not certain, but there's potential, as black killed it later and adding the heavy running group doesn't give any eyes.

Just played a game.
Chinese fuseki.
The plan is to analyze it later and find at least 5 mistakes.
