Life In 19x19

I was last night working though the 1990 Chinese games when I found this game with tengen opening and double approach to it. The game also developed into a huge capturing race:

Those were fun to look at. Particularly enjoyed in the first game the way white asserted it's will to power in the center. A salute to Ni for playing tengen against Ma Xiaochun!

Agreed those were quite interesting. I especially found the first with the white response a real shocker. It was not what I was expecting at all. Thanks for sharing.
