A quick translation from an article in Chinese giving details about Gu and Lee

* Both born in 1983
* Both became professional in 1995
* First title: Gu in 2001 (Chinese Xinren Wang); Lee in 2000 (Korean Chunwon)
* Total titles: Gu 40; Lee: 42
* International titles: Gu: 7; Lee: 14
* Gu also won a number of bilateral competitions (e.g. Chinese-Korean Tengen) which is not counted in above data

* Both had a poor 2013 without winning anything
* Both managed to win a title in January (Gu: Longxing; Lee: KBS Cup)

* Games between them: Gu won 17; Lee won 18; 1 void

* Both have one daughter.

Pretty close statistics. I will see if I can generate the title list from my database which will need some programming.

It depends on the age of the daughters as to how much stress and what kinds of stress each player is subjected to (=

It depends on the age of the daughters as to how much stress and what kinds of stress each player is subjected to (=


I would expect this to be an advantage, as they know they need the winner's purse :D
