I don't know how strong level 10 is as far as Kyu/Dan, but it's the strongest level in GnuGo. The game was pretty solid in my opinion, as I am getting better at making the handicap stones work together as a whole-board group:

Congratulations!

One thing to note in a review is that you followed white everywhere he went. The 19x19 board can be intimidating in not knowing where to play but often tenuki(playing away from your opponent) is best.

I have noticed this as well. Most of knowing when to tenuki and when not to comes from knowing when to ignore a sente move by White and when not to. Of course, if White ends a move in gote, and there are still open points on the board, then tenuki is more obvious.

Congratulations! :)

May I suggest changing the handicap after each win or loss? That's appropriate, as you will be advancing quickly. :)

A few comments on the opening.

Edit: Corrected variation.
