I do not know what you mean, but perhaps you can find it here:

It doesn't really matter, but I understand you need to know if this method works. It got me from need-to-learn-the-rules to 5k in a year, with the occasionnal book and pro game (with which I do also have fun, btw).

Well, KGS tells me I play at 3k. And I still struggle (a lot!) in Graded Go Problems for Beginners vol 3 (20k to 15k).

Although it gives that rank on the front, the back of the book says 12k to 6k... :scratch:

How many problems do you normally do vs. number of games?

I've been trying to figure out the best division of time and energy. Games take longer and are more fun, but problems feel like I'm pushing myself more. But if you're getting better at a nice rate doing almost only games maybe I need to rethink my strategy a bit. Or if you're doing lots of problems still I think "Have fun, one game at a time" might be a bit of a half-truth :)

This is highly variable, I don't really have a plan like others here.

Most days, I play one medium automatch (25mn+5*30), and no tsumego. Last summer, I discovered the easy tsumegos from GoChild and did 600 in a few days, but it has been two or three monthes without doing any. Some days I replay a commented pro game. The commented part is nice, but I select mostly these one to avoid to choose : too many pro games, so few time.

I've started doing 3 or 4 problems from GGPfB v3 each morning before getting to work, but I only started this week and I'll probably be bored soon enough.

Oh, and I try to review or get review of a few games, maybe two per month ?

So to sum up, I think it would be something like :
* play : 75%
* review: 10%
* progames: 5%
* tsumego: 5%
* books and chat: 5%

But as I said, this is not a prepared or conscious plan, and I don't know if I would improve more or less doing things differently.

I noticed there were only a few pages left on my GGPfBv3, so I decided to do the last 40 or so this evening. There were rather easy, but I still miss a few damezumaris...

Time for volume 4. I'll be done in a year or so if it takes as long as vol 3 :batman:

and another stone in my pocket :D I'm 2k now according to kgs.

Here's the game that got me promoted :

Nothing to be proud of, as it was full of mistakes and I got lucky that my opponent made slightly more than me, but I thought I'd share nevertheless. I'm very doubtful about the pushing sequence from 119 to 132, but it looks like it worked well enough. 119 at G14 was probably better.

Back from a long hiatus. It looks like I've lost one or two ranks, so it's time to get back on track.

Edit: three intensive days after, I'm back at my 2k level. But wow, I misread a lot!

Ugly game, but I got promoted to 1k :razz:

I really need to start learning a few josekis. I believe it's keeping me behind. Reviewing the first one, I made two mistakes according to josekipedia :(
