Re: Why aren't escapers marked?

I'm going to burglarize Bantari's house tonight. I'm sure that I'll find the door unlocked.

You're missing the point.
If you burgle a house, then the occupant suffers. Our possessions are generally pretty important to us, and we also feel violated because our illusion of 'safety in our own home ...

Re: KGS policies

Policy changes (and new functionality for that matter) can come from user opinion.
For instance, being allowed to talk "off topic" in evented games.
The managers and admins also have suggested new policies on occasion, not always successfully. (For instance, it was suggested to ban using as a ...

Re: Jerks you met on go severs?

At KGS, you are deranked when an admin removes your ability to play rated games and at the same time removes your rating information from the system.

I don't derank many people at all, and I hardly ever run into escapers. If I meet one, I can't say that it particularly bothers me at all. It always ...

Re: AGA Online Pair Go Tournament in June

Not really. You start off with the average attendance at the offline championship, plot some trends if you feel like it, then see how this new version compared. Was online a failure or a success....

Another Plea

I am still seeking to play a game with anyone using the Tibetan Ko Rule instead of the modern ko rules. I don't care if it's handicap, smallboard, or whatever. I'd like to play a few games with somebody to see how the game feels using this ko rule.

Go for French

Not sure there are many French speakers on this board, but if anyone is interested I would be interested in trading some lessons in Go for some language lessons.
