Re: A new server is being developed: Kaya.gs

1) I started a page on sensei's GoServerForTheFuture where everybody can add their wishes. and that it stays available for all.

at the moment it is a ripoff of GoSoftwareForTheFuture so it can do with a lot more. server ideas.

2) maybe an idea for KGS, add the website kiseido.gs as website.

Re: Possible new server: Kaya Go Server

I have lots of other ideas for a go server but if i have to pay $100 to get every idea implemented i would be broke.

1 Also other board sizes, just any size you want (i like 7x7)
2 gtp interface (so bots can also join in the fun)
3 IGS interface (so i can play it via smartgo)
4 linking to joseki ...

Re: EGC Drama

If I was the referee (And i am not even a referee)
- the move should be taken back.
& Alex should be given a decent amount of extra time. (5 min or even more)

I am against penalties that infringe on the board (extra points to the non violating person oid, making a pass of the move)

on another ...

Re: New European Tour

I was wondering about the points to placed description

a 6 round tournament only validates first 3 players see here so what if the points stream out to the 7th place (as with a level 5 tournament)

maybe you can only reasonably select the place with the MM score (so all players with a mm score of ...

Re: Stating this Ruleset as Compactly as Possible

- i suggest ending with 4 passes. (as in an earlier discussion here) :)

- why don't you just cut and paste the complete rules.

(if they are compact they should be short)

Re: Another Plea

I am still seeking to play a game with anyone using the Tibetan Ko Rule instead of the modern ko rules. I don't care if it's handicap, smallboard, or whatever. I'd like to play a few games with somebody to see how the game feels using this ko rule.
lets play a small game on 7x7. think easiest is ...

:study: :study: I wanted to make an article on sensei's library on the different tournament classes, but i could not find the authorised version of the description.

Re: The Annoying Dead

I've just thought of another way of thinking about this, which may (or, then again, may not) be of help. (As someone who only started to play almost exactly a year ago, I still welcome the chance to be made to think more deeply about things like this, even though it must be obvious to the experts ...
