Re: 8th Ing Cup

I'm surprised none commented on the fact that Iyama defended his Gosei title. Not only that, it was the fifth time in a row which means he will become honorary Gosei?

Re: Go curriculum book series
Hi
In Chess, there's a Dutch series called the "Steps Method", which has been translated to many different languages. After following these books, a complete beginner in Chess will end up at playing between 2000 and 2100 ELO after step 6.

Re: The struggles of a go enthusiast in a far away galaxy
I went 3-1 in the tournament as a 5k. I won against a 7k,6k and 5k and lost from a 5k so i'm not overly happy about that. At least i won a prize because of the 3 wins and managed to grab a volume of the 2nd volume in the workshop series by Yilun Yang. In 3 of the games i was behind in the fuseki and ...

Re: Videos on youtube for app. 20k
He has played like 5 games on 19x19, but i was hoping to speed up his advancement. I have no doubt in my mind that if he put some effort to his go he could be really good in a very short time. The fact that i can barely beat him with 2 stones in a 9x9 board is kinda scary considering he has played ...
