Re: 17th Nongshim Cup
@playslow. I haven't watched yesterday's game yet but I've seen most of their streams and they pretty much always get to the fuseki at some point although it can sometimes be like an hour in and usually when the players are doing a lot of thinking. A review that started from the first move would be ...

KGS does OK. As was guessed, it makes enough to cover all costs, plus a small amount more. The KGS Plus subscriptions and the Android client sales both contribute to the income.

Thank you John. I am glad you have been able to partner with Amazon on this project and I, like the silent majority of people who read this forum, am incredibly grateful for the work you have done to create high quality English resources on the game of Go.

Teaching account on KGS
So, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to go about trying to get a teaching account on KGS (i.e. one with audio).

Re: Kuchinashi Tournament (1k-3k)
I'm very sorry, but I need to withdraw. I have been dealing with some major work stuff (for bad reasons), and my free time has gotten significantly more busy as well (for mostly good ones). Sorry to be flaky.
So this knocks us down to an 8 person tournament. Which is pretty respectable.

F5 is sooo greedy. Maybe if there was a stone at D10 but on this board F5 begs to be made irrelevant.

Re: LG cup final
There's nothing rewarding about watching Lee Changho fall short again but I've been following Jiang Weijie since he defeated Gu Li for the Mingren two years ago and I've gotten a lot from his games. Definitely one of my favorite players and I'm happy to see him take his first international title.

Re: Kuchinashi Tournament (1k-3k)
We've gotten off to a slow start but I just sent PMs to everyone with updates so hopefully the tournament will pick up momentum in the next week. Let's say the official start of round two is today, which allows 2 weeks for the series's to be played.
