Re: Questions about a game
They had reason to suspect Metta of cheating. As long as that is so, other motives they may have had are irrelevant.
I think motivations are important Bill, and that it is important to keep it in mind when judging a situation.
Moreover, the Italian team motivation to cheat was nothing: no ...

Re: Questions about a game
As explained by someone here or in other threads, they fill a complain against that particular game beacuse that was the game with the most similarity rate according to a measure took by some self-called "experts". So maybe it was just an excuse for presenting a formal appeal by one of the team ...

However, indeed your tournament looked like a nice event to enjoy.
Thank you very much.
Good for him, that he is happy again, but then, doesn't he want to answer the bunch of arised question by himself and not through your 'appeals team'?
This is up to him. I understand he has lot of work ...

Re: “Decision: case of using computer assistance in League A
Actually, in Bologna we had an unexpected guest Hayashi Kozo 6p sensei that filled me with happiness:

Re: “Decision: case of using computer assistance in League A
I have found another simple reason, why Carlo should be unseated from EGC main referee's position. The Italian side experssed, that he is depressed and afraid to speak on public. Following this logic, will not he be afraid to speak on public also on EGC, where he has to control 1000 players ...

Hello, after 13 pages of posts over this argument, I think the
statistical analysis of the "method" used to accuse Carlo Metta can
help. You can find it here: http://frmor.net/misc.html. Hoping it
stops this unhelpful loosing of time, with kind regards, Mirco.
