Yes, but relationships are a two way street. It's important to see things from the other person's perspective. From a go player's perspective, you may think like that: "If she's interested in me, she should ...

Re: Girlfriend And Go

Another tactic is to ask her to help you replay a pro game. I've tried that before and it worked - we went through a few games, her playing white and me playing black and we would comment on moves, overall play and shape, etc.

Does she play? No. Does she seem terribly interested? Not really. But ...

Re: September DDK Swiss

Is it still a little premature to post a FFW? I sent Kiethlard a message once we were paired up and I have not heard back from him. However, I am leaving out-of-town tonight, so I won't be able to play tomorrow.

I believe they play the second game between the 16th and 17th of September.

The schedule looks like this:
1. 09/01 - 09/02 (Yuta won by 6.5)
2. 09/16 - 09/17
3. 09/22 - 09/23
4. 10/06 - 10/07
5. 10/13 - 10/14
6. 10/28 - 10/29
7. 11/04 - 11/05

Re: September DDK Swiss - SinK vs psk31

SinK and I will be playing our Round 1 match this Saturday (4th) at 14:00 UTC.

Side note - Now I realize what a challenge it can be to schedule matches when you can have 6+ hours of time difference.

Aye, Stefany and I were 8 hours apart. Thankfully we were able to make it work with me being up ...

Re: September DDK Swiss

So does this officially start on Wednesday? And with that in mind, we have until each Wednesday to complete our matches?

Also, I am confused on the tie-breaker rule. Is that per match, or at the end, for placement? What I mean is, if I get lucky and tie my first opponent, 1 game to 1, do we play ...

Re: September Tournament: 19x19 DDK

I will play regardless of the format. Unfortunately the initial format is what I would NOT like to play, as I don't have a lot of free time. I would prefer the round-robin or swiss-style format, but any works fine for me.

So please put me on the list!
