Does it come up with the built-in problem sets?

It sounds like you probably have an internal SD card, so that's where the gogrinder directory would be.
If you use a file explorer app on the phone, you should be able to see that directory.

GG has a zoom function that will help with this. By default I think it only zooms on a 19x19 board, but in the settings you can make it zoom on a 13x13 as well.

When a paid app is first downloaded, it needs to connect to Google's server to activate its license.
Once this happens successfully, it should only need to reconnect every few weeks. Maybe you couldn't get
a connection when you tried? I think if you try again, it should work.

What is it that causes you to reinstall every few months? It sounds to me like that's the real issue. Is anyone else having this problem? This is the first I've heard about it.

That's because the problem bundles only hang around on the server for a few weeks. Some users have had concerns about copyrighted problem collections getting out, so I delete the problems from the server every once in a while.

There's a new version of GG on the marketplace. This one should be installable on the Wildfire, and other devices with small screens.
It also uses the entire screen if you put it on a tablet.

You did a really nice job on Cho's Encyclopedia. I really like that set.

Also, I meant to tell you earlier - you don't really have to use the USB cable to get problems into the program. Any way of putting folders of problems in /sdcard/gogrinder will work, so you could use an FTP program or ...

It looks like the issue on the Wildfire is screen resolution. I can mark the app differently so it will run there, but right now some of the buttons are offscreen. I'm going to have to change the screen layout for that resolution or maybe use the menu instead of the buttons, and then I'll put an ...

When you say you can't buy it, what do you mean exactly? What error message do you get?
