I believe using KGS but .......
a) It depends on the strength of your harware. It's hard enough to calibrate each level making one harware assumption. So while in theory a program could begin (when coming up) by analyzing the crunch power of the machine on which running and adjusting the levels that would be a great deal of work. So Fotland assumed a two core ~2 GHz machine.
b) He told me the 3 kyu level isn't calibrated correctly (would be closer to 2 kyu)
c) The lower (non MCTS) levels would be less dependent on hardware power.

My level is very low, around 14k, I'm just starting.
