Thanks Bill. Great comments. I really should have played the bottom right corner better. It's funny because I thought I was going to be screwed as I was making the moves if he extended up the right side properly.. but I still made the moves anyways. I need to start thinking of better moves when I feel uncomfortable about a variation that's coming up.

wow. ur improvements is almost same with my rivals.
few years a go, I and my friend have same level 12k. and right now he's already 6dan and I still stuck at my 12k. he's giving one advice for me: "Mimicking" stronger player moves. that's all.
He's decreasing 1 stone per week (raising 1 level/week).

Right now is the time that I can reach his level as soon as possible.
It really make me mad when I know since a long time a go that he's still in junioh high school and already on the top of others in my country. my college and daily activity is holding me from improving my game. I'll try to reach u too,Drewch.

let's fight to be better level asap.

yes. even some years a go he got the ticket for participating in Japan. btw,I'm Indonesian. hopefully this story can trigger u and ur fellas to improve our game.

I Just got 10k. 8 more days to get 9k. Unfortunately, I am moving next week and I'm not sure how much time I will have to play. Hopefully I can get enough games in to get there!

Thanks Joan, great comments. Thanks! I need to start tenuki'ing more for sure, as well as seeing tactical moves and understanding which stones are useful and not.

Due to me moving this week, and having to deal a lot with lawyers and housing people the last few weeks. I have not had much time to play or study as I was able to during the time when I made this goal. I am changing it to 10k as I won't be able to play/study for a while until I am settled in at the house.

Thanks everyone for the great support and help during this goal of mine. I will make another goal in the near future once I am able to study Go again (hopefully within 2-3 weeks).
