Fyi: just found this announcement in the German go discussion board. It is interesting for strong players who wish to participate in the super group of the tournament.

IMPORTANT: Players who want to play in the super group have to be registered by Saturday, July 21st, 10 p.m.!

That means, a post-registration on Saturday early morning (which is possible in emergency for normal participants) will not be possible for participants of the super group.

Yes, indeed, e.g. in case of an accident or a delay of the flight to Bonn.
For participants of the super group however there will be no registration on Sunday, even in case of an emergency.

As one of the Tournament Supervisors, I repeat my previous statement. It is possible but by experience unlikely that Matti votes differently.

It is internally clarified. The external statement means that players are encouraged to arrive until 22:00. However, some will have booked travel connections after that; such and similar emergencies: see above.
