Ziyang Hu is a Chinese 1p who lived in Canada as of last summer, which is when he qualified as a Chinese professional and won the NAIM tournament.
This year, he's playing in the US Open, and after his game against Andy Liu tomorrow, one of them will be the only top player undefeated after 5 rounds, and the favorite to win the Open.
Does anyone know if he's been competing in China, and if he's just home for the Congress, or if he's still a resident of Canada?
Edit: I suppose we'll find out at the end of Congress when results are announced.

Re: Ziyang Hu
His name in Chinese characters is 胡子扬 or 胡子杨.
He was rated as number 228 in China pr. 30/4 2012, and he qualified for the Chinese city B-league as a U17-player where he played for a Shanghai team and scored 1-6.
