I haven't bought an alpha account, so I'm defenitely not a supporter. (an blogspot is inaccessible for me so I cannot check what's in there)
The other question is: Why a blogspot blog when they already have a domain name?
Information should be available when I open kaya. Not by asking on a forum or digging somewhere.
If it's not available, then you cannot blame people like the OP who don't understand what's going on.
Personally I knew 200 accounts were going to be released on the 3rd and I was there first hour in the morning and couldn't even register.
I AM a supporter (put my not-so-great-amount of money down, etc.). My interest for the beta is, what can disappointed users tell us about their experience that will help make it better? That's it. End of story.

Things that cost money should be plainly indicated. Up front. Not with hints, clues, and buried information. It's a simple matter of integrity. The absence of forthrightness equates to evasion and duplicity.
Kind of off topic, but I like kaya, except that nobody is ever on when I login. I wish more games were happening. I look forward to seeing more people when it's open for free. Maybe I'll log in more when that happens.
Until then, I'll probably just login occasionally.

there are more games being played since the beta opening, as we increase more players, you will find more and more activity .
Also another exciting news for you, we are very likely to get our hands on an Ipad next month, so we will be able to improve the tablet experience.

I laughed, read the last three posts please.
Does it make you laugh to be wrong?
You told the OP to loook in these forums to learn about kaya beta free accounts and I show you that it's not possible or at best very hard.
Re-read the thread "Preparation for beta" and tell me honestly that anyone looking for information about free accounts registration will bother to go to the second page. (and there's no real info about that on the second page anyway, you need to go to another unrelated thread to learn a few things)

I hate to break it to you but I said there was information in that thread, and you said I was wrong. There is information in that thread, you may argue that it is cryptic or difficult to find, but regardless of any of that what I said was true, and what you said was not. Anything else you say is just fooling yourself.
There are over 2000 members in L19. There are 200 free beta accounts and it's not just open to L19 members. It's not hard to figure out that those accounts will be gone in a flash. Just remember that kaya.gs is still in beta and they can only accommodate a certain number of free accounts at this moment while they are working towards a public release. If you want a free account, you'll just have to wait for the next offering or when the server is open to the general public. Meanwhile if you really want an account, you can choose to donate and support the server development. And yes, that does cost money. So just be patient if you are looking for a free account.

Go is such a beautiful game.

Regards.
Looking good already. I see a lot of improvements have been made. Great job!

Your twisting everyone's words and your incessant sarcasm will not change the fact that your unhelpful answer to the OP (and pointing him to a random, unrelated thread) was unnecessary.
If just saying that there is nothing to help the OP in the thread "Preparation for beta" puts you in this state then you really need psychological counseling.
Fizyx wrote:Like lorill said, there were a limited number of free accounts released last week, since the Gabriel and Patricio wanted to test the server stability with the sudden influx of new accounts, not just kill it. They've also said that, as the server becomes more stable, and they optimize its performance, that they are likely to add more free beta accounts. Also, with the first beta update on Friday, the server was running significantly more smoothly, so it may be (PURE SPECULATION!) that more accounts will be open soon.
Indeed, you can have an account NOW if you donate. That's the thank-you of being a part of the development process and actively engaging in it.
Or, the next time there are free beta accounts released, jump on the opportunity. It is a closed beta for the time being, and that is very consistent and responsible development practice. Rest assured that the team have not reneged on anything.

That's been repeated many times throughout the discussion. I'll reserve my "thank you" for my long promised free account, if I'm satisfied with the quality.

I'll rest assured when I see for myself how bad the lag is - something that generally isn't improved by the addition of more features and more members.
